Abstract

The Internet is a global communication network that connects computers and computer networks around the world. The rapid development of the internet in information technology and is included in primary needs side by side clothing, food and shelter. One of the advantages of the presence of the internet is the ease of administration. Administration can now be done anywhere without having to come directly to the place. In preparing the report, the writing methods used include: practicum method, which is direct practice in the field; literature review, which is looking for references or studies from various sources; and discussion method, which is direct discussion with related parties. In this field work practice / practical work activity, the author had the opportunity to do field work / practical work at Plasa Telkom Batang in the technician section and recapitulate customer monthly billing data. The purpose of the technician's job is to install new Indihome wifi, repair internet network problems, and connect fiber optic cables. In the monthly customer bill data recap section, namely to record and store data for customers who have paid off the bill from Indihome. In conclusion and suggestions, the author gained experience on how to overcome internet network interruptions, repair cables that were cut due to certain things and how to recap monthly customer billing data. It is hoped that the author can socialize more and also be able to establish good working relationships with the company or agency where the PKL / PKP is carried out.
