Abstract

E-wallet has become a global trend with millions of fans in various countries. E-wallets continue to grow and develop. In Indonesia, e-wallet usage is increasing and becoming the most popular payment tool. Currently, many people choose to make payments with e-wallets, and it is predicted that the number of users will continue to increase until 2023. E-wallet has become the most popular digital payment method in Indonesia, with many e-wallet platforms developing and becoming popular. OVO and DANA are consistently among the top three e-wallet platforms in Indonesia based on monthly active users. OVO and DANA are e-wallet service providers founded in 2017 and 2018, respectively. They are among the largest e-wallets and have the highest number of users in Indonesia. OVO and Dana are popular e-wallet apps in Indonesia for non-cash transactions. OVO and Dana have intense competition, with both consistently ranked in second and third place. The level of competition between OVO and Dana indicates differences in user interests and perspectives in choosing these two applications. Therefore, research is needed to determine the level of user acceptance of these e-wallets. Various methods have been used to analyze technology acceptance by users, and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is one of the most commonly used. The aim of this research is to compare the user interest in OVO and Dana and determine which e-wallet is more accepted. This study analyzes the comparison of user acceptance levels using the technology acceptance model (TAM). Data collection for this research uses a questionnaire through Google Form. The subjects of this study are OVO and Dana users. The number of respondent samples used in this study is 100, determined by the Slovin formula. Based on the analysis conducted, the conclusion of this research is that Dana has a higher level of acceptance compared to OVO, with an average score of 0.09875 (9.875%) for Dana, which is 0.062 (6.2%) higher than OVO's score of only 0.03675 (3.675%). Keywords: Comparison, Dana, E-wallet, OVO, TAM
