Abstract

The education management information system is a supporter of activities at the Ma'arif NU Education Organizing Foundation to be more organized. However, because this system is still new, it is not known whether this system already has an aspect of user convenience or not. So it is necessary to do a trial to find out whether the user feels comfortable when using the system. There are several ways, for example, usability testing is a process that involves users so they can study the product in order to achieve user convenience aspects such as effectiveness, efficiency and user satisfaction with the whole system. In this research, the approach method used is usability testing with System Usability Scale and User Experience Questionnaire. The test resulted in 64 respondents. From the results of the usability testing of the education management information system using SUS, the total average value of SUS is 59.78, which means that when viewed from the Curved Grading Scale, it is included in grade 'D' or less good. While the results of usability testing of educational management information systems using UEQ resulted in positive evaluations for aspects of Attractiveness, Perspicuity, Efficiency, Dependability, and Stimulation. For the Novelty aspect, the evaluation is more or less neutral. In conclusion, this education management information system is still not good when viewed from the results of SUS and UEQ research, especially for the Novelty aspect, it needs further development related to the innovation of the system.
