Abstract

STAIA Syubbanul Wathon's profile website is a website that is used to convey news, publications, achievements, promotions, and others. This website can be accessed by everyone. To find out the number of problems that occur on the STAIA Syubbanul Wathon Website, it can be found using the Heuristic Evaluation method. The Heuristic Evaluation method has 10 assessment aspects, namely: Visibility of system status, Match between system and real world, User control and freedom, Consistency and standards, Error prevention, Recognition rather than recall, Flexibility and efficiency of use, Asthetic and minimalist design, Help users recognize, diagnose, and recovery from errors, and Help and documentation. The purpose of this research is to be able to provide recommendations for improvements if development is carried out on the website by applying the Heuristic Evaluation method. The results of this study are that the STAIA Syubbanul Wathon website has a score of 0.68 which is rounded off to 1 which can be categorized as a cosmetic problem category. From these categories, the aspects that are repaired are the Visability of system status, Help users recognize, diagnose, and recovery from errors, and Help and documentation. Based on these aspects, what has been improved sequentially is to provide a different color between the currently active and inactive menus, adding notification pop ups, and adding a help feature.
