Abstract

The room reservation system at ITTP is currently carried out manually, meaning that borrowers cannot determine whether the room they want to borrow is available or not. Consequently, when submitting a letter, the administrator must access data in Microsoft Excel to check the room’s availability. If the room is unavailable, it needs to be replaced with another available room. Another issue is the frequent misunderstanding between the logistics department and students regarding the schedule of room reservations. Sometimes, a room that has been reserved is unexpectedly occupied by another borrower, causing disruptions to the planned events. To address these issues, the room reservation system at the Logistics Unit of ITTP needs to be digitized to facilitate student access to information and improve management performance. Therefore, this research aims to develop an Android-based room reservation application for the Logistics Unit at ITTP using Extreme. Programming method. The objective of this study is to build a room reservation system for ITTP, with the hope of enhancing the current reservation process. The testing conducted using Black Box Testing resulted in the application having a functionality level of 94,88%, which meets expectations.
