Abstract

The Career Development Center website plays a crucial role for students and alumni in seeking information and advancing their careers. However, interviews with relevant parties at the Institut Teknologi Telkom Purwokerto, including site managers and some alumni, revealed deficiencies in its appearance, flexibility, inadequate information explanations, and disorganized layout. Evaluating usability and improving design becomes a pivotal step to enhance the user experience at the Career Development Center. This evaluation was conducted through an online questionnaire utilizing the Questionnaire for User Interaction Satisfaction method, specifically designed to collect subjective data about user experiences, encompassing satisfaction levels, information clarity, layout, and website interface interactions. The evaluation results before and after improvements indicated significant enhancements, with increased scores across all QUIS factors. The "Overall Reaction to The Software" increased from 5.89 to 7.22, "Screen" improved from 5.92 to 7.20, and "Terminology and System Information" rose from 5.89 to 7.00. "Learning" also increased to 7.08 from its previous score of 5.91. Additionally, "System Capabilities" and "Usability and User Interface" saw improvements from 5.85 and 5.62 to 6.80 and 6.88, respectively. The hope is that these evaluation outcomes will enhance the user experience on the Career Development Center website, making it more appealing, flexible, and providing comprehensive and organized information for users. Keywords: evaluation, questionnaire, QUIS, design recommendations, usability
