Abstract

In today's era, it is very easy to find and obtain information, but not all information obtained is valid information. Many tourists want to know about a place they want to visit and tourists get information that is not in accordance with reality. In addition, due to the lack of promotion by the government, there are many tourist attractions that have the potential to increase the country's foreign exchange, but many people do not know the location of the tourism. Purbalingga is an area that has several interesting tourist attractions to visit, so the author assumes that an application is needed that can provide accurate information to increase tourists to the Purbalingga area. Apart from having tourist attractions, the Puralingga area also has several culinary delights that can be enjoyed by newcomers, and there are still many tourist spots that have not been visited and are even rarely known by travelers or visitors. To reduce these shortcomings and make it easier for tourists to find information about tourist attractions they want to visit, researchers are trying to find solutions. "Android-based Pariwisata Application in the Purbalingga Region" is used to provide information for local tourists and foreign tourists. This can be an opportunity for the local government of Purbalingga to improve services and facilities in the city so that tourists can feel comfortable coming to visit the city of Purbalingga.
