Abstract

Many companies or vendors produce telecommunications equipment, for example companies that produce switch devices, switch devices play an important role in computer networks because switches are used to connect one device to another through its port. The company may produce this device but it cannot be directly marketed because the device does not necessarily meet the quality or quality standards set in our country, therefore a switch device test is needed to ensure that the device meets the existing quality standards or not. PT. TELKOM Indonesia is a state-owned company that works in the field of telecommunications, PT TELKOM Indonesia offers a wide variety of services, one of which is a service for testing telecommunications equipment. PT Telkom Sub-Directorate of Digital Business provides 5 types of laboratories including devices, energy, cables, transmission, and calibration, each of which has a test engineer. Then there are 3 types of tests offered, namely Quality Assurance, Type Approval, Voluntary Test. In testing the switch device, it is tested on a lab device and the type of test. Quality Assurance must pass through the stages of regress, function test, SPB, payment, SPK, implementation of device testing, test results report device, QA siding because the switch device uses this type of QA testing, then the last is the issuance of a certificate. The process can be monitored from the Telkom Test House application. After a series of testing processes, it can be seen if the device passes or not. Keyword : Switch, Telkom Test House.
