Abstract

PT. Telkom Satelit Indonesia or telkomsat is a subsidiary company of the telkom group engaged in communication satellites. Telkomsat which is located on Jl. Sholeh Iskandar Bogor is a telkomsat which has a function as a transmission center. Telkomsat provides satellite-based internet services such as Mangoesky. This internet service is used to serve deep and remote areas that cannot be reached via fiber optic cable. Telkomsat as a service provider has various divisions and units, one of which is the new installation unit. The new installation unit has the task of communicating and collaborating with technicians in the field, so that the installation process for devices at that location goes well. Apart from that, being a PSB must be able to know the type of service used, the internet package used. While participating in field work practice activities, students are required to be disciplined, so that they can improve their self-quality. Keywords: Mangoesky, Telkomsat, Internet
