Abstract

Field work practice (PKL) is one way to gain experience and insight for students related to activities within work agencies in the telecommunications sector. Experience in this field work practice will be a provision and have the aim of developing the quality and ability of students in the world of work so that later in the world of work they become skilled workers. The author carries out field work practices at the Plaza Telkom Access Kroya. In short, PT Telkom Access is a subsidiary of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk. (PT Telkom) which is engaged in the business of providing access network installation services, building network infrastructure, managing Network Terminal Equipment (NTE), and operating and maintaining access networks. The author is placed in the admin provisioning section where this section is responsible for overseeing the business of the new installation process on Indihome. The author's task in this field is to enter requests for materials needed by technicians, update photos and progress data from technicians to the Proactive Maintenance web and validate for ONT changes.
