Abstract

The number of UNSOED students has increased every year. In 2018 there were 5,026 registered students and in 2019 there were 5,272 registered students. The increasing number of state university students in Purwokerto will result in the growth of boarding houses or boarding houses also increasing. To find boarding houses, students still do it manually by visiting the boarding locations one by one, so it takes a long time. The owner of the boarding house promotes his residence through leaflets, tabloids, radio or social media, making it less effective. The purpose of this research was to implement an android-based boarding house application using the prototype method and to test the android-based boarding house application. The method in this study uses the prototype method. The results of this study succeeded in implementing an Android-based boarding house application using the prototype method.
