Abstract

The National Police of the Republic of Indonesia or abbreviated as Polri in government duties is one of the functions of the state government in the field of maintaining public order and security, protecting law enforcement, serving and protecting the community. In this era of globalization, science and technology are developing rapidly. With the development of technology and information in this era of globalization, the National Police have utilized technology to develop several kinds of police service programs. By prioritizing the use of technology, the Indonesian police have transformed from a traditional system to a modern system. Like the Polresta Banyumas, the use of technology plays an important role in the performance of the police as a public service. Especially in the ICT Division which uses technology to run electronic communication services such as video conferencing, police service 110, using Hand Talk. And the Public Relations Division which uses technology as a medium for providing information such as websites and social media.
