Abstract

Thematic Real Work Lecture, abbreviated as KKNT, is one of the models of community service carried out by universities. In its implementation, KKNT needs to be directed at solving problems faced by the surrounding community in accordance with the potential and needs that exist in the field. Problems that arise in society can come from many different aspects. One of the aspects found in Karanggintung Village is the educational aspect, so it is necessary to conduct interviews with educators from various schools in Karanggintung Village to find out the existing problems. Based on the results of interviews with educators, the problem that arises among the school community is the lack of skills in the multimedia field, especially graphic design and video editing. Where the current learning process has been carried out digitally with the help of supporting technology, interactive multimedia, and so on. In addition, this has an impact on daily activities due to the current digital era related to the multimedia field. Based on these problems, the author conducts graphic design and video editing training in the hope of increasing the knowledge and creativity of participants who take part in related training. The purpose of the graphic design and video editing training is to empower the school community in Karanggintung Village in terms of making graphic designs and video editing so that they can be creative and innovative, increase creativity in design and video editing, and improve skills and mastery of techniques in designing and editing well.
