Abstract

CV. Roda Mas Putra is engaged in manufacturing metal products such as iron balls, pulleys, granding balls, granding chylpeps, door wheels, garden chairs/antiques. Problems experienced by CV. Roda Mas Putra, which is unable to meet the number of product requests to customers because the production target is not achieved. The purpose of the study was to determine the optimal number of workers at each work station. The method used is work load analysis, which is a procedure to produce a standard workforce measurement tool to be able to show the number of workers in each job description. The results of the workload research using the Work Load Analysis method that the workload of employees in the Production / Production section is 89.40% with the number of efficient employees is 7 people, the Finishing/Completion section is 95.37% with the number of efficient employees is 2 people, in the Packing section /Packaging 81.19% with the number of efficient employees is 4 people, in the Admin Staff section it is 95.88% with the number of efficient employees is 2 people. The addition of employees for the Production and Packing stations as well as recommending additional employees so that there will be a more optimal workload balance.
