Abstract

Pop-up book media as a reference medium for introducing animals to elementary school children in the pandemic era as an efficient book media so that pop-up book media make it easier for children to imagine the shape of animals and animals at TRMS Serulingmas Banjarnegara in real terms through animal illustrations in popup form 3-dimensions. Pop-up book media is one of the alternative media or substitute media as a form of introduction and promotion of TRMS Serulingmas through interesting children’s learning media. So that the research was achieved in the form of designing a pop-up book as a reference medium for elementary school children to get to know animals at TRMS Serulingmas. Then the research method chosen and used in the design of this research through a descriptive qualitative approach means collecting data not in the form of numbers, but the data comes from interview scripts, field notes, personal documents, memo notes, and other official documents. In this study a descriptive qualitative research design was used in this study with the aim of explaining and describing in depth the Pop-Up Book as a reference medium for elementary school children to know the animals of TRMS Serulingmas Banjarnegara.
