Abstract

PT. Telkom Akses (PTTA) is a subsidiary of PT. Telkom Indonesia Tbk, which is engaged in providing network infrastructure services and network development in Indonesia. The PTTA infrastructure network, especially fiber optic, is almost all over Indonesia. PTTA also has work units to support the provision of optimal services to customers, some of which are a “pasang sambung baru” unit and a “throubleshooting loss”unit. The amount of attenuation on the PSB service has a specification so that ONT can receive transmits from OLT which is -25dB to -28dB which comes from the PTTA link budget standard. Meanwhile, in the maintenance of fiber optic loss disturbances, the attenuation of the PTTA fiber optic connection has a standard value of less than 0.1 dB so that it does not affect service to customers in general and the total attenuation of the total link budget in particular.
