Abstract

Website development is an activity to improve a website's quality. The website of SDN 1 Purwokerto Kulon is a school profile website that is used to share information about school profiles and information on activities organized by schools. One of the routine activities held at the school is the Admission of New Students which is held once a year. SDN 1 Purwokerto Kulon is an elementary school that organizes PPDB every year. Based on the results of an interview with the principal of SDN 1 Purwokerto Kulon, Mrs. Rr. Esti Andjar Arijandhini, S.E.S., Pd.SD. said that the PPDB process is still carried out manually, causing several problems. The manual PPDB process has shortcomings such as, suboptimal information distribution, repeated form filling due to incorrect data, file duplication, incomplete files, file archives are not well organized, manual data updates, files are lost so they have to collect files again, from various problems the principal proposed adding an online PPDB information system so that registration information can be widely spread, registration can be done flexibly, Automatic archiving and updating of data, and preventing duplication of data. This study aims to design an online PPDB website at SDN 1 Purwokerto Kulon. The website design process uses the Extreme Programming (XP) method. The XP method was chosen because it is a good software development method for a few team members. The stages of designing an online PPDB website need to be tested for User comfort using the website. Testing in this study used the User Experience Questionaire (UEQ) method. This method was chosen because it was easy to do by the target respondents of this study, namely the guardians and teachers of SD N 1 Purwokerto Kulon. This test involved 30 respondents determined by the Stratified Sampling method, based on the results of the online PPDB website test with the UEQ method to get a Benchmark value on the attractiveness, efficiency, accuracy, and stimulation scale, get the Excellent category with a ≥ value of 2.15, and for the clarity and novelty scale, get the Good category with a ≥ value of 1.28.
