Abstract

In facing social, economic, world of work changes and rapid technological advances, it is important for universities to continue to prepare their students with competencies that meet the demands of the times. In this case there are Ministry regulations regarding the Free Learning – Independent Campus (MBKM) policy. The LMS Eduwork website is a platform used to collect assignments for those taking Certified Independent Study (SIB) classes at PT Talenta Sinergi group partners. The process of using the Eduwork LMS website is still not optimal. Based on the results of distributing questionnaires to students taking classes at PT Talenta Sinergi Group (Eduwork), they agreed to redesign several parts of the features in LMS Eduwork so that in the future the LMS Eduwork website can be used optimally and is easier to understand because the existing website is still less than optimal in terms of interface appearance and user experience. Therefore, researchers will redesign the Eduwork LMS website using the Design Thinking and Use Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that this research produced design recommendations from previous websites which received low average scores in the aspects of efficiency and novelty. The appearance of the website is considered less efficient and does not stimulate users to access its features. For the previous design benchmark values, namely attractiveness reached 0.97, clarity (perspicuity) reached 0.81, efficiency reached 0.17, constraint (dependability) reached 0.92, stimulation (stimulation) reached 0.83 and novelty reached 0.02, while the results of the redesign produced attractiveness reaching 2.23, perspicuity 2.32, efficiency 2.11, reliability (dependability) 2.15, stimulation 2.16, and novelty 1.83. Thus, it can be seen that the results of testing using the user experience questionnaire on the benchmark graph were in the very good category..
