Abstract

Schools are places used for the implementation of learning and teaching activities with various levels of education. One of the services provided by the school is the process of admitting new student candidates. Based on the results of interviews with the Principal of SD Negeri 3 Purwokerto Kidul, the PPDB process is carried out offline. There are obstacles in the process of admitting new students, namely the process of archiving student data has not been effectively integrated, which results in errors or loss of student data. There is a case where one of the alumni of SD Negeri 3 Purwokerto Kidul wants to continue his education by taking a package school, but when the alumni came to SD Negeri 3 Purwokerto Kidul to request data while attending SD Negeri 3 Purwokerto Kidul, the alumni data had been lost because the data was in the form of a hardfile stored in the student data display case archive. On the basis of the problems presented through interviews, this research was conducted to design a new student registration website as a solution to overcome the problems at SD Negeri 3 Purwokerto Kidul. In designing the website, using the Design Thinking method as a design design and User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) as website testing. The result of this research is a new student registration website for SD Negeri 3 Purwokerto Kidul. The UEQ test results obtained by the attractiveness scale get excellent results with an average value of 1.94, the perspicuity scale gets good results with an average value of 1.84, the efficiency scale gets good results with an average value of 1.70, the dependability scale gets good results with an average value of 1.60, the stimulation scale gets good results with an average value of 1.57 and the novelty scale gets good results with an average value of 1.36.
