Abstract

Learning English lessons at SD Negeri Singasari for grade 4 is still limited to the use of traditional media such as the use of textbooks and whiteboards as learning media that are less interactive and boring. This research aims to develop and revive interactive multimedia-based learning media, using the ADDIE method as a more interactive English learning tool. English multimedia learning media was developed using the ADDIE method. This animation is designed to explain basic English concepts with interesting visualizations, including quizzes that can test students' understanding of the material they have learned. This research includes the development of interactive multimedia, implementation testing in grade 4, and evaluation of questionnaires using the SUS method to measure the effectiveness and response of students. The results of the study show an F grade which shows that interactive multimedia needs to be developed better to make students more interested in learning English in the classroom.
