Abstract

In this modern era, many people rely on catering services to fulfill food needs in their various events. Pawon Criwiel Catering, located in Saphire Estate Housing, Karangmiri, Sumampir, North Purwokerto District, Banyumas Regency, has served various events such as celebrations, office events, and aqiqah with a diverse and quality food menu since 2016, and has many customers who subscribe. However, for now Pawon Criwiel Catering is experiencing several obstacles, namely the lack of means for promotion because it still relies on word of mouth recommendations or personal acquaintances so that catering owners need to make notifications about the existing food menu and then send them through various social media and the next obstacle is the system for recording transaction data which is still done in a conventional way, namely by recording in a transaction book or note on a cellphone which can cause errors in the ordering process. The solution taken is to design and build a website-based catering ordering application with the waterfall method. The results of the system implementation in the form of a website that has the main features for users or customers, namely placing catering orders on the Pawon Criwiel Catering website, the Pawon Criwiel Catering admin has the ability to manage orders and also manage the content of the Pawon Criwiel Catering website. After testing the website using black box testing with two stages of testing from each admin and user or customer feature, it has run as expected and obtained a score of 100%.
