Abstract

The development of technology in the current era has advanced rapidly and diversified, one example being websites. A website is a collection of domain pages containing various information that can be accessed via the internet. Websites can be utilized in various fields, one of which is as an information medium in a campus environment, as practiced by the Student Executive Board of the Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology (BEM KEMA ITTP). BEM KEMA ITTP is a student organization at ITTP that serves as a channel for the aspirations of Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology students. BEM KEMA also has a website to provide information and news related to activities within the campus. The current website of BEM KEMA ITTP still has several issues, including mismatched background and color schemes, as well as the placement of buttons for menu access being less intuitive. Due to these issues, it is necessary to improve the user interface (UI) of the BEM KEMA ITTP website. The method used to solve this problem is Goal-Directed Design (GDD). This method focuses on designing the user interface. It is used to address the issues because it emphasizes UI design. The testing and usability evaluation of the improved website system are conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. The result of this study is a more intuitive and user-friendly UI for the BEM KEMA ITTP website, proven to be acceptable and well-received. This conclusion is based on the SUS testing results. The SUS score for the improved BEM KEMA ITTP website UI is 82.35, indicating that the improvements made to the website are acceptable.
