Abstract

The purpose of this study This research was conducted because the company to observe the productivity of the XYZ Spicy Noodles Purwokerto cashier keepers because they did not know the level of productivity of the cashier keepers. This research will determine the percentage value of productivity, random visit time, data uniformity test, cycle time, standard time, and normal time to be used as a reference or company standard. This study uses the Work Sampling method. Data collection was obtained by observing for 9 hours according to the company's operating hours. From the results of the research conducted, it was obtained that the average value of the non-productive percentage was 50%. The cashier's cycle time is 10 minutes. The normal time for the cashier with the Shumard and Westinghouse methods is 11.6 minutes and 13.3 minutes, respectively. Meanwhile, the standard time needed by the cashier to serve customers using the Shumard and Westinghouse methods is 13.45 minutes and 30.9 minutes, respectively. The proposed improvement given to the company is so that the company can increase the productivity of the cashier keeper with the standard time calculation results obtained, which are 13.45 minutes and 13.45 minutes.
