Abstract

Food waste is a problem facing every country that has yet to be resolved. The household and trade sectors are the biggest contributors to food waste. restaurants are trading businesses that provide a variety of foods. The amount of food served by traders is a significant factor in contributing to food waste because it can cause foodto not be sold out or spoil and eventually become food waste. The research was conducted in restaurants in Banyumas. The method used in this research is quantitative. The quantitative approach uses a questionnaire and processes data using multiple linear regression methods. The results of data processing usingmultiple linear regression methods found that food choice affects food waste management. Attributes of food choice variables include favourite and marketing. Keywords: Banyumas, Food choice, Food waste, Restaurant
