Abstract

The implementation of Human Resources Management (HRM) in the transportation labor services at the market provides benefits in improving productivity, quality, and job satisfaction. High customer service standards and an optimal work environment are crucial for job efficiency and reliability. Without proper HRM implementation, the performed work is at risk of facing issues such as task mismatch, decreased motivation, and reduced service quality, which can negatively impact success. Pasar Kliwon in Kota Kudus is the largest wholesale and retail market where transportation labor services perform risky tasks that lead to fatigue and health risks. This study aims to analyze the workload and potential burnout among transportation labor services in Pasar Kliwon, Kota Kudus. The measurement methods used are Cardiovascular Load (%CVL) to assess workload and Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) to measure burnout. The research findings indicate that the %CVL level is 34.042, which falls into the moderate category and requires improvement. In measuring burnout using MBI, the average score is 71.229, with emotional exhaustion being the most influential dimension (36%). Statistical testing shows a significant relationship between workload and the level of fatigue among transportation labor services, with a calculated F value of 1.400 < FTable value of 3.13. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence between workload and fatigue levels among transportation labor services at Pasar Kliwon Keywords : Kliwon Market, Workload, Burnout, Cardiovascular Load (%CVL), Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI).
