Abstract

Gotong royong is a culture that cannot be separated from Indonesian society, especially rural communities. One of them is Pesanggrahan Village which is a village that still upholds the value of mutual cooperation in everyday life and in traditional ceremonies, such as the bobok bunbung tradition. However, mutual cooperation in the younger generation is now starting to fade due to technological developments, ways of educating children and conveniences that result in the formation of individual attitudes. So that media is needed to help educate children about mutual cooperation in achieving common goals. In this design, the author designed an illustrated book on the Bobok Bumbung tradition as a mutual cooperation educational medium that is applied to a Bobok Bumbung tradition. The purpose of designing this illustration book is to design an illustrated book of the Bobok Bumbung Tradition in Pesanggrahan Village as a medium for mutual cooperation education, which discusses community mutual cooperation behavior in the bobok Bumbung tradition. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Collecting data using interviews, observation and documentation. The result of this design is an illustration book entitled "The Bobok Bumbung Tradition of Pesanggrahan Village" which is accompanied by illustrations. This design uses the main media as illustration books and supporting media in the form of posters, x-banners, bookmarks, tote bags, t-shirts and mugs.
