Abstract

Information Technology Governance (IT Governance) has an important role in the Banyumas District Education Office (DINDIK) to help performance be maximized in DINDIK. The Banyumas Regency Education Office has inadequate network problems or a lack of human resources at the DINDIK Organization, and the Education Office also does not yet have and compile IT Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), the infrastructure for routine network monitoring and maintenance is not maximized. This study aims to measure how far the IT maturity level is implemented at the Banyumas District Education Office, so it is necessary to use the Control Objective for Information and Related Technology (COBIT) 5 framework by using the data collection stage from observation, interviews, and questionnaires as the data collection technique used. to measure the value of the Information Technology Maturity Level in Dindik based on the calculation of the capability value. The results showed that the maturity level in all domain processes averaged around 3 (Established Process). Dindik's maturity level at level 3 means that the Banyumas District Education Office shows that organizational processes need to be developed and leveled up so that expectations can achieve better targets and the recommendations from this study provide a reference for Dindik so that they can make improvements in terms of IT governance so that they can run according to organizational goals and the application of IT governance resources can work optimally in the future.
