Abstract

The development of the culinary business in Indonesia, especially cafes, has experienced rapid growth in recent years. Consumer interest to order menus and place reservations online is getting higher. However, this shows that cafe reservation applications that consider the needs of persons with disabilities are still limited. Persons with disabilities often face challenges in accessing technology that is not fully friendly to their needs. Based on this problem, it is necessary to design a cafe search application that has an interface that is suitable for people with color blind disabilities. The method used is a user-centered design method, in which this method places the user at the center of the design and ensures that user needs, preferences and experiences are always considered and considered throughout the application development process. In order to overcome this problem, an interface design with two views is carried out, namely for normal users and users with limited color blindness. The test results were carried out through a usability test by distributing the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire. From the test results, an average SUS score of 81 out of 100 respondents was obtained. This score gets grade A based on the grade scale, excellent rating based on the adjective rating, and is included in the acceptable range based on the acceptability ranges. This indicates that the appearance of the CACA (Search Cafe) application can be well received by users.
