Abstract
The digital library website of the Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology is a website that makes it easy for users to access digital book collections. Ease of accessing the website is the effect of existing usability. Usability is defined as how users can learn and use the product to achieve goals and how satisfied users are with using it. To assess the usability of a product, whether or not it is needed is obtained from an assessment of a product or website. This study, an assessment was conducted using the Software Usability Measurement Inventory (SUMI), the questionnaire based on efficiency, influence, assistance, control and learning ability. This study involved 42 respondents from the IT Telkom Purwokerto academic community. The questionnaire is tested validity and reliability, it was carried out using SPSS software and the result was that the SUMI questionnaire was proven to be valid and reliable. From the results of the evaluation of scores in the five categories above, there is an average global score of 64,1 so that it can be said that users are satisfied with the digital library website. In addition, this study also produced interface improvement recommendation designs based on interviews conducted with 10.
