Abstract

This independent study Internship aims or focuses on learning and understanding Quality Engineer at Alterra Academy. The implementation of independent study activities will be carried out from February 2022 - July 2022. The project scope to be carried out in this Independent Study program is a quality engineer (QE) on the web and mobile-based Payment Point Online Banking application as well as in the REST API and CI sections. The scope of work of the Quality Engineer team includes making Test Scenarios and Test Cases, Testing manuals, Testing Automation (Rest API, Web, Mobile), CI/CD and the results of testing automation. Due to the development of today's society, people want fast and instant needs, such as buying credit, electricity, and transferring e-money. We created a Payment Point Online Banking (PPOB) application which is a billing payment mechanism that works with banks that are connected online in real time so that data reconciliation occurs very quickly with very accurate data accuracy. While waiting for the UI/UX, front end, backend, and mobile roles to release, the QE role creates test plans and test cases. Once part of the project is up and running, the QE role will start testing until the project is fully completed.
