Abstract

The Covid-19 virus that has hit various countries including Indonesia has changed the way of doing daily activities. Various steps have been taken by the Government to prevent the spread of Covid-19. In the education sector, to protect generations from the transmission of Covid-19, the government issued a policy of implementing online learning. The Teaching Campus Program Batch 1 of 2021 is a form of implementation of the Independent Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) in the form of teaching assistance to empower students in assisting the learning process in elementary schools in various villages/cities, especially in the 3T (Front, Remote and Disadvantaged) areas. one of them is SD Negeri Inpres 2 APO which is located in Kota Jayapura, Papua. In this program, the students involved are responsible for assisting the school in the teaching and learning process, adapting technology, and assisting school administration. So that later the results of this program can instill empathy and find a social community in students towards the problems of life around them; hone thinking skills in working together across various fields of science and students in solving problems they face; develop students' insight, character and soft skills; encourage and spur national development by fostering community motivation to participate in development; as well as increasing the real role and contribution of universities and students in national development.
