Abstract

Practical work is a student activity to gain knowledge and practical experience in the field based on the scientific basis that has been learned. Students can choose the location of practical work in accordance with the expertise they have in accordance with the field of study taken. In the Visual Communication Design Study Program, students usually choose a practical work location related to design, one of which is a company related to the world of Graphic Design. The author chose PT Yogyakarta Tugu Televisi (Jogja TV) as the location for practical work. This location is the first private local TV company in Yogyakarta. Jogja Tv is a company engaged in the creative industry. The author would like to describe the experience while participating in practical work at PT. Yogyakarta Tugu Television. What activities did the author do during practical work. From the results of this experience, the author can conclude that this practical work is very beneficial for students, especially students. Because it can add insight and experience in the world of work. In addition, it can also add relationships.
