Abstract

PT. Gizi Indonesia is a manufacturing company that produces cosmetics for men and women, all of the company's activities are carried out in one area. These services include product concept creation, manufacture of finished products on demand, to distribution of finished products to the market. This study uses the Wera method as a risk factor analysis, there are 9 physical risk factors, namely the shoulders, wrists, back, neck, legs, strength, vibration, contact stress, and length of work. This analysis was conducted based on interviews with each operator of the packing process machine PT.Gizi Indonesia. In the secondary production room or packing division of PT. Gizi Indonesia, there are several indicators that do not follow the work rules (ergonomics), and the atmosphere of the work environment does not look optimal, making employees complain about physical health, especially when sitting and standing for too long. Seen in the packing division room, the employee's chair is still too short and does not have a useful cushion to support the employee's sitting position where many employees complain about their physical condition, but there are also many employees who don't care about their work position because they are used to it, the condition of the room with hot temperatures causes a stifling atmosphere in employees. This kind of work affects employee productivity in the product packaging process, the product packaging process, including coding, labeling, shrinking and packing. The results of the research using the wera method are found in the packing division with a medium risk level. The coding process with a score of 39, the labeling process with a score of 37, the shrink process with a score of 38, the packaging process with a score of 35.
