Abstract

PT. Subur Mulya Sejahtera is one of the frozen food distributors of Kanzler Sausage products located in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Many consumers order products in different locations with distribution area coverage, including the Solo Raya area. Currently, shipments still do not have a fixed distribution route. One of the best ways to make the distribution system run more optimally is to optimize the available vehicles so that the number of requests does not exceed the available capacity. The Nearest Neighbour method can be used as a starting point for route planning as well as problem solving. This method can be used as a determinant of the shipping path to be used, so that the risk of stacking goods and the cost of shipping goods to customers can be minimized. Based on the results of the Nearest Neighbour method, the total distance traveled for one week on the use of this proposed route is 924.5553 km, obtaining a distance savings of 180.1447 km or 16.31% and obtaining time savings of 47 minutes. The cost of fuel on the proposed route for one week is Rp. 785,873, - and the resulting decrease in fuel costs is Rp. 153,082, - or 16.30%.
