Abstract

Field Work Practice that can be called Practical Work is a compulsory subject from one of the courses in each study program and is a requirement for completing the Bachelor of Information Systems education at the Telkom Institute of Technology, Purwokerto. At the end of the field practice work activities, students are required to compile a report and the report will be used as a basis for giving an assessment. The website is a page that is visited by many people, because it displays a lot of information. The Office of Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa is an implementing element of Government affairs in the field of community and village empowerment. This study aims to provide solutions to problems at the Community and Village Empowerment Service by providing a user interface (UI) for the system. The author provides solutions for creating an E-SURAT website. Before creating an E-SURAT website, it is necessary to design the appearance of the website. So from the results of interviews with the PMD Service, the author designed the appearance of the E-SURAT website which later could become a reference for the Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa. The website system has a menu including business travel request letters, birth permits, employee leave letters, application for internships.
