Abstract

Final Assignment (TA) is a requirement to obtain an academic degree at tertiary institutions, TA is one of the compulsory subjects. TA has several procedures for submitting titles, submitting supervisors, guidance, proposal seminars and results seminars. Based on the results of the interviews and distribution of questionnaires, it can be concluded that the system is still unable to display the number of students who are working on the TA, the system has not yet reached the stage of monitoring the TA and can print trial notes. Therefore, this research will design using the UCD method and SUS usability. There are four target users in this study, namely students, supervisors/examiners, head lecturers and FIF academics. UCD is a user-focused method, UCD has four processes such as design process planning, determining user context, determining user needs, design planning solutions and design evaluation and SUS is a method of testing user satisfaction, SUS has a scale from 1 to 5, 1 means not agree and 5 means strongly agree. According to the research data obtained, the evaluation uses the usability of SUS, effectiveness aims to find out whether the user can complete the task given and the efficiency goal is how long it takes to do the task. The results on the effectiveness aspect for students are 95% and efficiency is 3.6 goals/sec, for supervisors/tests the effectivity value is 100%, the efficiency value is 0.3 goals/sec and for lecturers and FIF Academic heads, the effectivity value is 100% and efficiency value is 2.4 goals/sec. The SUS value obtained from this study is 81 and is in the good category. Keywords: TA, Monitoring, Website, User Centered Design (UCD), System Usability Scale (SUS)
