Abstract
Kebumen has a number of natural landscapes in the form of beaches, mountains, and is dominated by lowlands. Kebumen Regency has uniqueness that varies from: hills, beaches, waterfalls, caves, forts, reservoirs and others. However, the means of promotion and information carried out by the Tourism and Culture Office of Kebumen Regency have not been widely disseminated. This underlies the need to build a web-based information system to increase the number of tourists visiting Kebumen Regency. Based on the formulation of the problem, the purpose of this research is to design a geographic information system that aims to provide information to tourists who will visit Kebumen tourism objects. The geographic information system created applies the principles of Rapid Application Development as a research method. The results of the implementation of the system are in the form of a website that has a menu of tourist types and tourist objects that are equipped with tour route navigation using an API Mapbox. After testing the website using blackbox testing, the results of each feature on the admin and user/visitor run well according to their functional needs. Testing using SUS obtained an average score of 71.41 with a grade C scale and has a subjective Good rating, meaning that the website can be used by users properly.
