Abstract

Evaluation of the XYZ website user interface by involving XYZ website users is important to do so that the website design developed is in accordance with input from XYZ website users. This study aims to evaluate and develop the XYZ website design interface. The object of this research is the XYZ website interface design. The user experience evaluation method uses the User Experience Questionnaire. The number of respondents in this study were 20 people who filled out a questionnaire that the author distributed through social media from March 29 2022 to April 4 2022. The results of the evaluation of the initial design of the XYZ website on user experience got a bad benchmark on all scales, namely attractiveness -0.92 , clarity -0.86, efficiency -0.43, accuracy -0.63, stimulation -0.05 and novelty -0.93. The method used to develop the XYZ website interface is User Centered Design. The results of the user experience evaluation on the new design get benchmarks above average for attractiveness, good for clarity, very good for efficiency, above average for accuracy, good for stimulation and very good for novelty. The evaluation scores for the new design were 1.46 for attractiveness, 1.93 for clarity, 1.95 for efficiency, 1.19 for precision, 1.49 for stimulation and 1.79 for novelty. In conclusion, the development of the XYZ website interface using the User Centered Design method increases the value of attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation and novelty.
