Abstract

Village Information System (VIS) is an example of the use of technology in the field of public services as regulated in Law no. 25 of 2009 concerning Public Services. VIS is expected to assist the village government as well as residents in documenting information from village data. SID must be accessible to all people, for example like a website. The website can be accessed by anyone who has internet access anywhere and anytime. WordPress is a platform for making websites that is open source as a free Content Management System (CMS) and can be modified as needed with a feature called a plugin. The system was developed as a means of public information regarding Grecol Village, which is located in the Kalimanah sub-district, Purbalingga Regency. The system is also used by Dinkominfo of Purbalingga Regency to complete the information system website for each village in Purbalingga Regency.
