Abstract

Crime in Indonesia from year to year is increasing with all forms of crime caused by various problems such as economic, social, and low legal awareness. Of the various crimes that are most often encountered in everyday life, namely theft, making people feel afraid and uncomfortable in their activities. To reduce the public's sense of discomfort in dealing with such cases. The security system using a reed switch sensor is a circuit that can detect theft based on the Internet of Things. This reed switch system will later be placed on a vulnerable object. This system is monitored on the Telegram application by the admin so that it is easier to activate and deactivate. This system is equipped with a buzzer so that users can find out if there is interference from objects on the system. Telegram has an important role in this system to report every activity that occurs on the network. The device will send a notification or notification to telegram so that the user can know.
