Abstract

The Certified Independent Study Program (SIB) is a manifestation of the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) issued by the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia through Permendikbud No 3 of 2020 about National Education Standards. The lesson taken is a Certified Independent Study UI/UX Research & Design Course from Binar Academy. The learning process by synchronously (online via Zoom Meeting with the facilitator) and will be given tasks with the results of the implementation of the material that has been obtained previously for 5 months consisting of 110 sessions. In addition to hard skills in the field of UI/UX Research & Design, soft skills are also the target of competence for independent study participants are self-branding, problem solving, design thinking, and collaboration.
