Abstract
Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) are Indonesian citizens who intend to work, are currently working, or have worked outside the territory of Indonesia's sovereignty to earn a salary. The main factors that encourage citizens to become Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI). This is a problem of the economy and limited employment opportunities. The main factor is the family economy. Problems faced by Indonesian migrant workers in destination countries, 80% of the sources actually come from villages. The protection of PMI is manifested in the form of the Migrant Workers Care Village (Desbumi), both prospective migrants, active migrants, and returning migrants, there are still many who are not aware of the existence of village regulations regarding the protection of migrant workers due to the lack of information submitted. To overcome this problem, a prototype of the Desbumi application in Rogojati Village was made. By applying the User Centered Design (UCD) method for the design and the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) for evaluating the user experience. Both of these methods allow for prototyping based on user preferences. In this study using Protopie to make a prototype to make it easier for users to interact. The results of the application of the UCD method in completing the application design of Desbumi Desa Rogojati which consists of 4 stages, namely identification, specifying user requirements, design solutions, and evaluation, from this stage it produces several features such as see village regulations on Desbumi and other information about Desbumi that is not contained in village regulations. The results of user experience testing using UEQ on 35 respondents gave a positive response Keywords: Desbumi, User Centered Design, User Experience Questionnaire, prototype
