Abstract

Cahaya Jewelry Store is a jewelry store located in Pasar Kesugihan, Cilacap that provides various types of jewelry such as rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings. However, in the process of recording stock of goods and transactions, Cahaya Jewelry Store still carried it out by paper-based records or manually, no technology is used yet. This causes frequent errors during the process of recapitulation of daily and monthly reports. In addition, the notebook is prone to be lost and torn. These problems cause problems and lack of time efficiency, especially when recapitulating daily and monthly reports because they have to manually record and calculate transactions from start to finish. The purpose of this research is to design an inventory information system at Cahaya Jewelry Store, web-based, which makes it easier for employees at Cahaya Jewelry Store to manage stock of goods and record transactions computerized. To design the information system, the method used is Extreme Programming and the PHP programming language. The researcher used this XP method because the project is small and the communication between the developer and the customer is more interactive. In addition, system development is also faster. Then, to ensure the system runs well, a trial using Black Box Testing is carried out and continued to measure the feasibility of the system using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The result of the research is that a website-based inventory information system at the Cahaya Kesugihan gold shop has been built which can facilitate the recording of goods, stocks and transactions. The test results using SUS in terms of the adjective rating include the excellent column, so this system has a good usage value and can be used sustainably.
