Abstract

The Certified Independent Study and Internship Program (MSIB) is one of the Merdeka Campus programs created by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikburistek) in collaboration with many well-known companies in Indonesia which aims to provide spaces for students to gain experience knowing the world of industry or professions that so far may only exist in the dreams of students. One of the partners who participated in the program was at PT Poca Jaringan Solusi with an Internet of Things specialization which took place from April 28 2022 untill. 27 September 2022. During the MSIB period at Poca Jaringan Solusi the Company provides lessons ranging from basic programming, basic networking, and installation where this material starts from the first meeting until June. Followed by life skills and installation materials in July, August. The last is the final project for one month with the title "Microwave Installation". The final project carries the theme of system communication by utilizing network technology for a good planning process in the installation process, starting from determining between sites to be connected, determining the height of the antenna on the tower, the angle of the antenna and the process of determining the frequency used in the antenna effectively and efficiently.
