Abstract

Indonesia and the rest of the world this year experienced an unforgettable event, namely the COVID-19 pandemic, the Covid-19 pandemic greatly affected all activities ranging from social activities, work, school, and various activities related to crowds. Internet-based faceto-face online activities are a very helpful solution in the midst of a pandemic like this, starting from office activities, schools, lectures, and even talking with family is not spared from digital technology. There are several applications that are used to carry out online face-to-face activities, namely google meet, zoom meet, and discord, in carrying out these online activities there is a network traffic parameter that can be done, one of which is using the QoS (Quality of Service) method, there are several elements of measurement ranging from throughput, packet loss, delay and jitter. The object of this study analyzes network conditions in real time, data is taken using several network providers, then calculated in order to get good network quality so that it can find out which network providers can be used to carry out face-to-face activities online. The data research was taken in the morning at 08.00 to 10.00 then noon at 12.00 to 14.00 from the entire study obtained results on the use of discord applications using biznet provider morning session 08.00 to 08.30 get a throughput of 4939 Kbps and during the day at 12.30 to 13.00 of 5887 Kbps. then the largest percentage of packet loss was found in the use of google meet applications using biznet provider session during the day at 12.00 s / d 12.30 get a packet loss of 10.0% even though it is in the largest percentage but still in the good category. The biggest delay and jitter occurs during the use of the discord application during the day session at 13.00 to 13.30 using the xl provider gets a delay of 108 m /s, the jitter is 108 m / s but for the delay is still in the very good category but for jitters enters into moderate condition. in addition to the results mentioned earlier, all applications and 5 providers of morning and afternoon sessions the parameters measured still meet the standards of tiphon and fall into the category of very good and good.
