Abstract

The role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is very large in the world of education in an effort to improve skills and quality of learning in the era of globalization. In this digital era, the use of ICT is an important aspect in an effort to support all activities and needs in the world of education. The application of ICT utilization in education can be applied to children aged 12-15 years at the junior high school level as well as teachers as educators in schools. Utilization of ICT at the junior high school level aims to make students have the skills that will be needed at the next level based on ICT. Telkom Institute of Technology Purwokerto held the Thematic KKN MBKM program aimed at enabling students to provide appropriate solutions to the problems that exist in Melung village. Based on the problems at SMP N 3 Kedungbanteng, the author proposes a work program for videography workshops and video making competitions specifically for grade 9 students, in addition to efforts to improve student skills, this activity is indirectly one of the efforts to promote the melung tourist area so that it is better known to people. through social media. Through these activities, students are expected to be able to assist in the process of improving skills in the field of ICT for students of SMP N 3 Kedungbanteng.
