Abstract

Professional Placement is a means of self-development of several skills or skills, both soft skills or hard skills obtained during lectures, which will be applied to work in the field directly at an agency or company for several months. The implementation of this PKL takes place at the Government Agency of the Communication and Information Office of Magetan Regency for 1 month, namely from August 5, 2021 to September 5, 2021. Placements Professional Placement at the Office of Communication and Information Technology are divided into several sections, with different fields of work. Implementation of work in the Information and Communication Technology Division with the task of carrying out the preparation of policy formulation and implementation, preparation of norms, standards, procedures and criteria and providing technical guidance and supervision as well as monitoring, evaluation and reporting in the field of basic infrastructure services for data centers, disaster recovery centers and ICT. This PKL report will discuss the Trial of Mikrotik Network Devices, in which there will be findings of obstacles or problems and proposed solutions to the obstacles or problems that will be faced. The purpose of this title is for the author to understand firsthand how the Mikrotik network device works. Based on the implementation of the Placements Professional at the Communication and Information Office of Magetan Regency, it can be concluded that the author gets a real picture of the absorption of knowledge or theory that has been obtained in lectures.
