Abstract

Meeting the needs of cellular technology for the community is still hampered by unstable network quality, causing bad spots and even blank spots. The use of information in the economy and as a means of education for the community is an essential tent valuable and improves the performance of information systems. This study has the aim of optimizing and improve the 4G LTE network for Telkomsel operators in Balapulang Kulon Village. Optimization of sectoral antenna physical tunning using Automatic Cell Plannig (ACP) which includes changes in azimuth, antenna tilting, and antenna height in a frequency of 1,800 MHz based on the results of drive tests and existing site data which are simulated using Atoll 3.3.3 software. The optimization results are then compared with the simulation results based on the existing site data and the results of the drive test. The percentage of simulation results for existing sites that do not meet Telkomsel's KPI standard for the RSRP parameter is 68% which is above -100 dBm and for the SINR parameter, it is 73.4% which is above 0 dB. The results of the optimization of the physical antenna using the Automatic Cell Planning (ACP) method for the RSRP parameter obtained 78% , which was above -100 dBm and for the SINR parameter, it obtained 85% which was above 0 dB. Based on the optimization results for the RSRP and SINR parameters, they do not meet the KPI standards but have increased coverage by 10% for the RSRP parameters and 11.62% for the SINR parameters. Keywords: Long Term Evolution,Optimization, Site Existing, Antenna, ACP.
