Abstract

Based on BP2LHK, the composition of plastic waste has shown an increase in a period of 10 years, from 11% in 2005 to 15% in 2015. Meanwhile, only 10-15% of piles of plastic waste are recycled. In addition, 60-70% is disposed of in Final Disposal Sites (TPA) and 15-30% has not been managed and disposed of to the environment, especially rivers, lakes, beaches, and the sea. This makes us want the Indonesian people to realize the importance of waste management, to always be aware of the current waste problem in Indonesia, and to act on it. We want to provide a platform where people can contribute to creating a positive impact on the environment by starting small steps such as categorizing waste before throwing it away for the convenience of their own home environment. That's why we created the "Cikrak" website as a solution to this problem.
