Abstract
BUMDes is a business institution that is managed independently by the community and village government in an effort to strengthen the village economy and is formed based on the needs and potential of the existing village. Sudagaran village has very good potential for renting a boarding house because of its very strategic location, especially after the Banyumas district expansion plan has been submitted by the Banyumas regent regarding Regional Regulation Number 7 of 2009 and the Long Term Development Plan of 2005-2025. To support this potential, the author makes a single boarding application prototype. In this case, the author uses the Design Thinking method in its design and the UEQ method in its evaluation. The purpose of this study is to apply the Design Thinking method in completing the single boarding application design and to test the usability of the single boarding application design for BUMDes Sudagaran, Banyumas sub-district using UEQ. The results of the application of the Design Thinking method in the process of making a single boarding application design consist of 5 main stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototyping and test. From these 5 stages, 4 main features were produced in the admin user application design, these features include a home feature that contains daily reports, a room feature that contains room availability management, an order feature that contains incoming orders and other features that contain settings. Then in the customer user application design there are 2 main features, namely the booking room feature and the boarding view feature. The results of usability testing using the User Experience Questionnaire on 36 user customer respondents gave a positive response with an average UEQ benchmark value of 1.67 and 6 user admin respondents gave a positive response with an average UEQ benchmark value of 1.81. It can be concluded that the average value of the two users got a good score or the "good" category from the UEQ benchmark version 10 which contains data from 21.175 people from 468 different studies.
